BeSafe Drivers Ed was founded by Mufti Khalid, whose visionary approach to accessible, safe, and impactful driver education continues to inspire us. He entered the field of traffic safety education in 2005, acquiring more than 19 years of experience throughout his career. Despite facing numerous obstacles, he dedicated himself to serving all communities. He worked with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, including immigrant and refugee communities as well as those with varying levels of literacy, pioneering multilingual instruction and innovative teaching methods to support diverse learners and strengthen public safety on the road. Though the passing of Mufti Khalid is a great loss to bear, the heart of his work built on compassion, vision, and service to the community lives on through BeSafe. 

At BeSafe, we honor his legacy by upholding his principles of safety, honesty, reliability, and accessibility. We are committed to providing every student with high-quality instruction and support that reflects his enduring impact.
