We offer the Knowledge Test in 12 languages. The exam will be done electronically.
English, Spanish (Español) , Punjabi (ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ), Russian (Русский), Ukrainian (Українська), Arabic ( العربية), Korean (한국어), Japanese (日本語), Traditional Chinese (<中文 ), Chinese Simplified (简体中文), Vietnamese (Tiếng Việt), Tagalog
The test consists of 40 multiple choice questions and you must answer at least 32 of them correctly.
A passing knowledge test score is valid for 2 years.
You must be at least 15-1/2 years old to take the WA State Knowledge Test (or have completed a teen driver's ed course if under 15-1/2)
You must have a Washington state ID number (Ex: WDL123ABC456)
You must have a License eXpress (Lx) account with access to your username and password.

A valid original photo-ID card document (i.e. Passport, State ID, School ID, Employment Authorization)
Student must arrive 15 minutes prior to scheduled appointment for registration
